Telemetry

Live soil readings from the root zone, every 15 minutes.

Read the root zone, not the sky

A LOAM probe sits in the soil where the roots are, not on a pole above them. It reads moisture, temperature, and respiration every fifteen minutes and streams it to your field page.

What it measures

moisture volumetric water, 4 depths
temp soil at 10 / 30 / 60 cm
respiration CO2 flux from the food web
EC salts, for the salty patches

Why it matters

The plant lives in the soil, not the air. A hot afternoon that looks harmless can be baking the root zone. You'll know before the crop does.
