Soil structure

Aggregation, compaction, and infiltration, the way roots feel it.

How the roots feel it

Structure is the thing no test ever captured well — until now. Aggregation, compaction, infiltration: the shape of the soil, which decides everything else.

What we measure

aggregates crumb size, the soil's skeleton
compaction penetration, down to the hardpan
infiltration how fast water actually goes in
tilth the number the shovel already knew

Why it matters

You can have perfect chemistry in dead, bricked soil and grow nothing. Structure is the chassis.
